Hot off the shelf-summer beauty

05:24

Good morning BeYOUties! I take great pleasure in writing for you so frequently throughout Summer. The weather is nicer for taking pictures and collecting inspiration for my blog (also for adventures), I have more free time and I'm always in a good Motivational mood.
Today I wanted to share with you a few cosmetics hot off the shelf which have all been released a few days/weeks ago specially for the month of August. Some of these items (specified) are Limited edition so you must be quick as they will be snaffled up otherwise. From lip balms to contour kits It has been a pleasure adding all of these goodies into my basket !!
Tempted ? Now for the close ups: *This post has not been sponsored, all products were purchased with my own money*

1) Too faced Cocoa Contour kit- an expensive but highly pigmented kit. With two highlights;one shimmery and one more matte alongside two different bronzes your face will be chiselled to perfection. The shades compliment most skin tones and after several uses of each one, I sense they will last for a long time both within the kit and on my face ! My favourite so far is 'pop of light', I'm glad Too Faced included a brush and large mirror within this set as it is perfect for travel.
2) Guerlain eyeshadow quad- full of such delicate feminine shades, I can imagine blending these together for a beautiful evening eye. 2 sheer shades and 2 pigmented darker tones works well together and these last all day. The gold packaging is beautiful and yous all know I'm one for the beautiful packaging of cosmetics and a mirror and brush have been added too. I fell in love when I saw this. This palette is in '18-Les Nuees'.
3) Sleek Limited edition Nautical collection palette in "calm before the storm". The box this came in is beautiful (first picture) and is very appropriate for my cruise what with the sailor stripes and anchor on the front. The actual palette cover is the typical sleek black packaging and a mirror-nothing too special but that's all forgotten when you glance at the captivating colours. Five gorgeous and safe neutral shades are given in contrast to the array of riskier shimmery and matte blues. (The swatches for all these are in the first picture). This palette is very affordable and is perfect for beginners too, however is Limited Edition so you must hurry. I believe there is also a limited edition blush palette and lipstick in this nautical range.

1) Clinique chubby stick baby tint in "flowering freesia". Sheer but beautiful. If you're looking for a dramatic pigmented purple, this is not for you. I'm not one for a bright purple as I don't suit them but was pleasantly surprised when I picked this up. (Swatched in the first picture). I have others from this range and love them to pieces so I was assured when I was recommended this newbie. I think this will be perfect for autumn and spring and is a travel version so perfect for holidays right now.
2)Zoella "let's spritz" fragranced body mist. This is my favourite smell EVER. It smells as good as any Marc Jacobs Daisy range (cmon they are hard to beat) and smells expensive like Dior. For such an affordable price this is my second bottle already and the collection was only released mid July. I have been wearing this generously non -stop for 3 weeks now and this needs to be commended. It has a fruity and floral scent mixed together, it's not too strong and could a class as a perfume or a spray. The packaging is super cute with the lace, purple colour, and Aqua blue writing. This really needs more recognition.
3) Maybelline Baby Lips in Peach punch. I love the Baby lips collection so when I saw these two Limited editions released for summer the other day, I rushed them straight to the till. Peach punch is very sheer so if you're looking for colour, don't choose this one as it's more of a lip balm consistency but would work if you had naturally pink lips. I noticed this one in particular made my lips very soft and smells lovely which I would expect anyway from maybelline. The packaging is cute as always, the baby lips have always been affordable which I have always loved and this is no different.
4) lastly, I picked up Melon Mania baby lips also. Swatched in the first picture it offers a shimmery pinky coral colour which would be perfect for the beach or everyday use. The packaging again is very cute and the smell is not too artificial , despite the watermelon label I didn't think it smelt just of watermelon, Instead more of a fruit punch. This one reminds me of the original collection peach baby lips with the shade. At £2.99 it's perfect for your handbag you can't go wrong.
Update your summer makeup drawers like I have mine. Watch out for my next posts, something very special is coming up soon....
Love always xxx
