Happy Halloween my BeYOUties!! How are we all? Fall has deffinately arrived as I am sniffling and coughing everywhere I go. Fun. But to cheer myself up, one of my lovely friends took me out to lush and the excitement of the new Halloween and Christmas range already out was just too tempting!! You know christmas is coming simply when lush bring out their christmas range. So to get me ready for Halloween and fireworks night I decided to pick some of the more spooky and starry (if that's a word) bath delights out. Don't ask me why I am so seasonal in what bath treats I buy, i just am, so deal with it! So, I'm sure this collection will grow, it's just I wanted to let you guys know that lush have their new collections out, that the halloween items are limited and are going now and what I personally picked out.
So, I may have gone a bit overboard as I have bought a fair amount :D I picked up most of the halloween range then some of the norms for a special reason. Basically I ended up buying three of a bath bomb -you will know which one later- because I loved it so much and one of the things I wanted was sold out in every single store so there's a story coming in a minute :D To just give you an overview of what was in the lush halloween collection, here is a picture :
How cute was this collection?! Plus it is a little more based on bonfire night this year. Plus I just need to shout out the original owners of some of these beautiful pictures featured! So onto my haul ....
We will start off with my absolute favourite Halloween bath bomb this year. Drumroll please... The Lord Of Misrule!! Above is a collage of what happened during my bath time experience. The Georgous wine colour from the centre oozed out with the green mysterious shell melting away slowly revealing poping candy to give you a fright. (The popping candy is very loud, I thought my bath was cracking!) The smell is a musty luxurious scent-you may have worked out now that I can't really describe scents- and is not too overwhelming. Ahhh just the way I like it. From the pictures above, it turns half of your bath into a sort of watermelon which I thought was amazingly cool :D probably not intentional though haha xx I bought three of these this year as they will be waving a farewell soon :( if you don't know what to buy in lush or are simply having a look please please please pick up Lord Of Misrule, they may not look anything special but are secretly astounding !!!!
Next onto twilight. Not a limited edition but a norm, but that's ok because everybody likes twilight. I thought I would pick it up seeing as it looks halloweeny anyway and used this on actual Halloween night. Twilight is very relaxing and creates beautiful blue foam mixed with a soft pink/purple water colour. Sweet Bubbles are endlessly produced mixed with shimmery glitter and leaves you feeling relaxed and silky smooth. Twilight is again a more musty scent which is my favourite scent and has a very rich dark pop to it. A lovely classic perfect for Halloween.
Sparkler!!! I purchased the last one of these last week, both northern lights and sparkler seem to be very popular this year. Hopefully that means they will come back next year too, I don't remember them being here last year though. So I think sparkler is new and a perfect creation for bonfire/fireworks night (however you like to call it) therefore I will be saving it for this first week of November because I think it's more special that way. Although I probably will buy another one before then! Sparkler has more of a fruity scent but not too sweet and is a lemony smell obviously because it's yellow and apparently spins round your bath !! How exciting! Look up at the two last pics on my collage, it's supposed to create that. I simply can't wait and I think this one is also very suitable for children with the happy colour and how it turns your bath into a very own fireworks display. Sparkler wasn't very expensive either and I hope it doesn't go at Halloween.
Yes I know. Shoot for the stars is technically a Christmas one. But tbh is doesn't really resemble Christmas and I think is much better for fireworks night. Shoot for the stars, I had last year and first turned your bath into a beautiful indigo colour then pink, then multicoloured. Also the foam was mixed with glitter from the inside of the bomb and was heaven so I hope they haven't changed it this year. The scent is a really lovely one not too sweet and no too rich. I can't wait to use this one, when fireworks begin.
Lastly, onto northern lights. Northern lights resemble of course the northern lights up near where the Arctic circle lies. They show between now and winter by an illuminating blue green glow. They look beautiful so I cannot wait to use northern lights especially as it has the stars in it. I get way to excited for these things, honestly tasha! This is really bad but I didn't actually smell the bath bomb I just grabbed it, because everybody else was too, so I'll leave it up to you for the smelling part :D I just love the displays people have captured, featured in my collage above.
So I hope you all had fun on Halloween, whether it was a party, trick or treating or a simple movie night. Tell me down below, which item has been or was your favourite from lush' Halloween collection. I'd love to know! Xx look out soon for a christmas lush haul as christmas is soon approaching and is my favourite time of the year. Sorry this haul was a bit late but I am very busy with school work and family at the moment, and I wanted to get my collages perfect!
